New Ill Po Song “Numb”

In preparation for my upcoming EP “Synesthesia: The Yellow Movement”, I’ll be dropping a selection of songs and videos for everyone to enjoy throughout the Fall and Winter. The first of which is titled “Numb” and is written to Flying Lotus’s “Infinitum”. Expect a video for this in the near future as well. If I get a good response from you guys on it, I may have to add it to the EP.

This kind-of turned in to one of those songs that ended up sitting in a special place in my heart. I can’t quite articulate why, it just fills this vibe I’ve always wanted to pull off. It reminds me of how life felt when I was a kid. Kind-of a soundtrack that would play in Max’s head from “Where the Wild Things Are”. It feels just right for the season. A November-ass song.

LxE for the Uncool “Monsters Are Due…” Free Download + “OG Champion Hoodie” Video

The homie LxE for the Uncool has re-released his super-slept on EP “The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street” (with a bonus song “Dragon Sea”, that I actually recorded and mixed a couple days ago).

He rocked a few of these songs religiously on tour this past Spring. My favorite song from our group set was actually the joint “Monster”, which you find on the download here.

To help celebrate, he also drops a video for the jump-off “OG Champion Hoodie”.

His Full-Length follow-up will be out this Winter.

Illogic “Graveyard” (Lost track from “Diabolical Fun”)

Hey, hope everyone is having a nice holiday experience.
Just wanted to round out the end of the year with a lost Illogic song from the “Diabolical Fun” sessions:

“Graveyard” (prod. by ill poetic) is an unreleased song that didn’t make the final version of Illogic’s “Diabolical Fun” (released earlier this year). The song originally closed out the album, but was cut because it just seemed a little too dark for the overall feel of the record (the song sounds like it looks outside). We figured we’d give something away for free for the holidays to remind people of Illogic’s comeback LP as well as his current Greenhouse EP with Blueprint. Also attatched are some “Diabolical Fun” snippets for anyone who hasn’t checked for it yet. On the Ill Po side of releases, be prepped for a 2010 full of projects/odd ideas (inluding the official follow-up to “The World Is Ours”).
