(Strength) Video

For those who don’t know, I’ve been diving into Sound Design and Scoring.

It’s been an amazing ride, as it’s really helped me develop the direction I want to go with my own upcoming releases.

Above is a project I did with David Damen at Arris Productions. It will be entering into the Arnold Sports Film Festival this March, so wish us luck.

Reggie B “The Celeste” Video

Reggie B is a really talented singer out of Kansas City. He works with lots of musicians and artists that I really respect and dig. But even if he didn’t, I still jam this shit. Case in point, he’ll be handling hook duties on the official single to my upcoming EP, entitled “Silhouette”.  I met Reggie B a few years ago by way of the homie Approach. 3 years later, all these dude’s have influenced me musically and feel like extended family.

But it’s not really enough just to watch this video, it makes much more sense to hit Reggie’s Bandcamp Page as well.

Ill Poetic Performance This Saturday @ Clifton Heights Music Festival – Cincinnati, OH

This Friday and Saturday marks the second Clifton Heights Music Festival in Cincinnati.
There will be lots of venues with every type of genre of music you can imagine.
Really fun event.

I’ll be doing a Set on Saturday at 10:30p at the Rohs Street Cafe.
Lots of new stuff and new ideas with old stuff.

Sade -”Keeps Us From Falling” (Ill Poetic Remix)

Simply put, I’m a huge Sade fan. I started work on this remix over 7 years ago. Upon hearing about the release of “Soldier of Love”, I figured now would be the time to release this. A Part of me is doing this from a promotional standpoint. But, honestly, the bigger part of me (and anyone who knows me can attest) is doing this as a fan of Sade, the singer and the band. Sade, to me, represents one of the last artists I can be a strict fan of. A legend, a myth. The more we all exist in this music industry, it’s easy to get lost in the business of music. Sade is my reminder of what makes beautiful music so beautiful. She is the perfect reminder of why music is a soundtrack to an Experience. That’s why I made this remix. If you’re a fan of Sade, then this is one fan’s take on her music, given to the rest of her fans who’d like to listen.”
