I haven’t rocked a show in Columbus since Spring of last year (on our first Ohio Takeover Tour). That’s way too long.
In the meantime, I’ve been getting this EP ready for release and working the details out on some release parties. To get ready, I’ll be doing some shows out and about trying out some new material and ideas. The first of which will be with my good friends Matt Reed & TGP, an awesome funk/soul/electro/hip-hop hybrid as well as my dude Ginsu and Button & Her Notions.
The last time TGP, Ginsu and I rocked, we made a whole night out of it, bouncing between performance, live band, and DJing. It worked REALLY well, and the floor stayed packed the whole night.
This time, we’ll be at Carabar for an early 9pm show next Tuesday, July 24th.
Swing out, have a $1.50 PBR or other cheap drink (they have great food, too) and listen to some good-ass music. Listen to me try some random new shit out. You’ll be home early enough to get to work in the morning.
